Khaled Sabsabi

Since the late 1980s, Khaled Sabsabi has worked with communities,

particularly in South West Sydney, to create and develop arts programs and projects

that bring together people and places from board social,political and ideological, spectrums. Sabasabi's artiflcially coloured video Air Land

Multi-media artist Khaled Sabsabi's work reflects the complex and often fraught space

of border identities, migrant territories and identity production, characterized by an ever

changing and contingent nature. Born in Lebanon, Sabsabi migrated with this family to 

Australia in 1978, to settle in Western Sydney a predominately migrant area.
